Word

Word Level I

    You will be able to:

    Create a new letter or memo; open a previously saved document; edit, enhance and format the document; move and copy text within a document and between two documents; use tabs, indents and page numbering; change paper size, margins, paper orientation and printers prior to printing; print, save and close a document; use find and replace; use the proofing tools associated with the application (spelling, grammar, thesaurus).

Word Level II

    You will be able to:

    Insert files into documents; import pictures and company logos into documents; move and size graphics within a document; create headers and footers; construct and complete a mail merge using form letters; create mailing labels; sort lists; sort paragraphs; create, use and modify tables.

Excel

Excel Level I

    You will be able to:

    Enter text and numeric data in a spreadsheet; format and enhance the data; construct formulas; use the application’s built-in functions; move and copy data; insert and delete columns and rows; change the size of columns and rows; set margins and paper sizes for printing; select printers; print the spreadsheet; work with multiple spreadsheets; create and modify charts.

Excel Level II

    You will be able to:

    Create and use named ranges; use more advanced functions; find and replace data; freeze worksheet titles; use window panes; use styles; create special formats; customize the Toolbar; link files; protect worksheet data; create and use macros.

Access

Access Level I

    You will be able to:

    Create a database; define the fields in a table; edit and format the fields; add records; open an existing database; construct and print queries; find data from several tables; create forms; design and print reports.

Access Level II

    You will be able to:

    Specify multiple criteria in queries; select specific ranges and/or values in queries; calculate totals for groups of records; enhance forms with special controls; draw lines and rectangles within a form; enhance reports by adding and adjusting controls and sections; move and copy data, tables and records.

PowerPoint

PowerPoint Level I

    You will be able to:

    Create a presentation; create a title page, bullet chart, table chart, organization chart, bar chart and pie chart; use the drawing tools; import data from Lotus 1-2-3 or Excel; create and enhance a screen show; use the proofing tools associated with the application; print the presentation.

PowerPoint Level II

    You will be able to:

    Customize the Toolbar; use the AutoShapes feature; copy attributes between objects; copy attributes between slides; apply borders, fills and shadows; add gridlines to graphs; draw shapes and change colors in graphs; link spreadsheet data to graphs; copy slides from one presentation to another; copy objects from one presentation to another; create handouts and speaker’s notes.

Outlook

Outlook Level I

    You will be able to:

    Set up an address book for contacts; send and receive e-mail; include an attachment in your e-mail; use the calendar to set up appointments and meetings; assign tasks to yourself or someone else; keep a journal.

Outlook Level II

    You will be able to:

    Use an AutoSignature in your E-mail; sort messages; create and manage personal folders; send and manage meeting requests and responses; access web sites from the Contacts list; automatically record journal entries.
